Roethlisberger has played sloppy

Don't get me wrong...Big Ben is fun to watch and when he is on he is one of the best QB's in the league, but this past monday showed us some of the reasons why he shouldn't be considered one the games elite QBs....

Sure he has two Super Bowl Rings, but his defense has been stellar since he has been at Pittsburgh. Also Big Ben does know how to extend the play, but with the ailing ankle injury that has limited his mobility we have quickly found out that he isn't the greatest pocket passer.

Big Ben's consistency this year has been a big reason of why the Steelers have had 4 losses.  In three of those 4 losses Big Ben had a QB rating of less than 62 and his worst coming on Monday Night against the 49ers with a very sloppy rating of 52.3 and an equally terrible 3 ints. Big Ben at San Fran threw an interception in the Red Zone which should straight out never happen! As a fan, coach, or owner, nothing is more frustrating than poor consistency in QB play. One thing is for sure though if sloppy Roethlisberger doesn't getter a little more consistent, the Steelers could be looking at a one and done in the playoffs!
